The Winter WonderFest is a Can't Miss
Winter WonderFest in Chicago
Winter travelers through Chicago and the surrounding Chicago area sure to bundle up and enjoy an array of cold weather fun – from hitting the slopes at Four Lakes Ski Area, to a Chicago Bears football game at the famous Soldier Field.
he Winter WonderFest is an annual event entertaining families from early December through early January. Families make the drive in from nearby cities like Westmont, and Morton Grove – all for the excitement and holiday thrills.
Complete with rides for all ages, attractions, games, and the Chicago Blackhawks Indoor themed ice skating rink, admission into the Winter WonderFest is free – with different prices for rides and other specific attractions set once inside – a Regular Activity wristband, for example, yields unlimited all-day access to the rides and attractions, minus the ski rental area.
There’s a wealth of charming and historic sites to see and experience when you venture into Chicago – baseball fans love a visit to Wrigley Field, and art lovers make plans to visit both the Art Institute of Chicago, and the famous Chicago Theatre.
Once you’ve had your fill of the arts and the sports, wrangle up the kiddos and make your way to the Navy Pier, just minutes from downtown Chicago, and a quick drive from Hillside, Schaumburg, or Dekalb.
